Give your LabVIEW and TestStand development a boost

Just started on your LabVIEW and TestStand journey, and you feel like you could do with some outside help to get a boost? Our LabVIEW and TestStand coaching service is designed just for you.

Sign up for 2 days of LabVIEW and TestStand Coaching, and we’ll schedule a periodic coaching session (once or twice a week), to get up and going.

Pre-requisites:

1. 1. We don’t recommend this for absolute beginners.
  2. We highly recommend that you go through the initial NI training, which comes free with any valid subscription. The courses we suggest you start with prior to signing up with Wired-in include:
    - LabVIEW Core 1 and LabVIEW Core 2
    - Or if TestStand is your thing, look at Developing Test Programs Using TestStand

How it Works

Features:

1. 1. You’ll be connected to a relevant coach – see below for our current coaches.
  2. We will host 1-2 hourly sessions per week, held online
  3. Training/coaching can include LabVIEW, DQMH, Vision, DAQmx, RT, FPGA, VISA, TestStand, Systemlink, G Web Development.
  4. Learn about software engineering basics, including good software design/development process, source code control with Git, and more.

1. 1. Learn from an experienced LabVIEW / TestStand developer.
  2. We focus on your project, rather than prescribed training material. We jump straight in to your challenge, so you’ll get immediate productivity.
  3. In between each session, we have some time to follow up on anything that we’re not aware of so we can have an answer next time we meet.
  4. Take advantage of our tools and templates, including our G Code Quality Checker, LabVIEW DQMH Templates and our TestStand template. We’ll share these with you where relevant.
  5. Once the coaching finishes, we now have a good understanding of your project, and can provide an extra hand in your development team if your internal resources are limited

Chris is a LabVIEW Champion (since 2021) and Certified LabVIEW Architect (since 2008). Chris has been using LabVIEW since 1997, and has it for his entire career.

Chris has delivered hundreds of LabVIEW-based solutions over his career, and has a wealth of experience with most NI platforms, including RT, FPGA and Vision

Stuart

Senior Software Engineer

TestStand

Stuart is a Certified TestStand Developer and our chief TestStand architect at Wired-in Software. He has been using TestStand solidly for the past four years, and is responsible for our internal TestStand template, which includes a custom operator interface.

Stuart also has been using LabVIEW since 1997, and knows how to blend TestStand and LabVIEW to create a winning framework for test systems.
